Prayer is powerful, and when we pray for our-self and others, there is an expectation for what is being petition for to come to pass. However, there is a piece that gets overlooked many times in our prayers as believers. And that is, that prayer must be in aligned to God’s word, HIS will, and HIS purpose. Therefore, if your prayer is accordance to HIS word, it has to happen! There is another nuance that is essential in prayer, which is compassion. There has to be consideration, from the heart of what is that is being requested. It is not important, about the eloquence or style of prayer but the simple cry of compassion from the heart. God hears all prayers, but it is according to the intent of one’s heart on whether if HE responds accordingly. Prayer is manifested in an appointed time. For the most part, the world wants to pop their prayer request in and outcome the answer. This is a microwave mentality. God does not work as a microwave, but HE works as the One who knows what we need and when we need it. However, there are times when the people of God forget who HE is and the power HE possesses. But be mindful today, that there is power and victory in Prayer!

Lord of All, give us patience and compassion, that we may be able to pray in faith with an expectation that it will come to pass, as it aligns to your word and is acceptable in your sight; Oh Lord my Strength and my Redeemer.
