As humans we do not have the wisdom, or the capability to fully grasp the level of hope that God has for us. Man’s dreams are limited, and his expectations are lacking. Moreover, we are way too comfortable clinging to the hope of what can be seen visibly. According to scripture, we cannot even begin to imagine what God truly has in store for us in this life and/ or the next. Hope must be placed in Christ and our hearts must be fixated on Him. Then nothing is impossible, and we can live each day with great expectation!
Our natural talents and abilities are God given and do no impress Him. His desire is not so much for the wisest, strongest, and most together people. All that we have is because of Him. He desires for man to come to Him as he is and lay it all down at His feet. Any talent we have has been placed in us by God.
Therefore, be mindful that pride loves self. Now, it is perfectly normal to be grateful for one’s accomplishments. But do not worship your accolades! Human nature hates to admit that we are weak and hopeless. While we may get through each day seemingly strong and fully capable, when it comes to spiritual matters, we find we are lacking. The spiritual part of us is the eternal part, the lasting part, and the real part that overcomes. In essence, only God can do the unimaginable and is willing to bless those that believes and are willing to seek Him.
My Prayer
Lord of All, with You, nothing is impossible. You are my hope, and my heart is fixed on You. I am expecting great and wonderful things that eyes have not seen or ears have not heard. Thank you, Lord, In Jesus name I pray — Amen, Amen and Amen.
