Most people aren’t prepared for major spiritual attacks in their life, nor are they equally prepared for or understand the impact it can have on their mental state! This month’s expoundment requires a deeper level of thinking, so take a few moments to clear your head and open your heart to receive God’s inspiration for your betterment…
The bible says,
13 Therefore, put on the complete armor of God, so that you will be able to [successfully] resist and stand your ground in the evil day [of danger], and having done everything [that the crisis demands], to stand firm [in your place, fully prepared, immovable, victorious]. 14 So stand firm and hold your ground, having [b]tightened the wide band of truth (personal integrity, moral courage) around your waist and having put on the breastplate of righteousness (an upright heart), 15 and having [c]strapped on your feet the gospel of peace in preparation [to face the enemy with firm-footed stability and the readiness produced by the good news]. 16 Above all, lift up the [protective] [d]shield of faith with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. (Eph. 6:13-17)
Therefore, I realize that many Believers have been offset in life because they do not understand the significance of a spiritual attack or how to skillfully apply God’s Word to their circumstance. In the passage of scriptures reflected above it reminds the people of God that temptations, trials, and attacks will come. However, there is an onus that requires me to wear or clothe myself in His word, stand immovable on that word, resist all that may challenge my thinking that is antithetical to God’s word, be established in righteousness through the truth of His Word, face the attack head on, be resilient in faith, remember that you have been redeemed from past sins and hell, and apply God’s word as needed to every thought or situation that challenges your standing as a re-born believer!,
Satan will attack you spiritually to control you physically. Let’s be mindful that we ALL have areas of weaknesses that require an anointing from on high to keep us walking in victory.
Know that you are an overcomer,
1 John 4:4; Little children (believers, dear ones), you are of God and you belong to Him and have [already] overcome them [the agents of the antichrist]; because He who is in you is greater than he (Satan) who is in the world [of sinful mankind].
Your faith must be activated and exercised,
James 2:17; So too, faith, if it does not have works [to back it up], is by itself dead [inoperative and ineffective].
Remember that God saves and cares for you daily,
Psalm 68:19; Blessed be the Lord, who bears our burden day by day,
The God who is our salvation! Selah.
