Phil 3:5-10, 11-15 and 16-21
According to scripture, Paul made it perfectly clear that he was circumcised at the tender age of 8 years old born of the race of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew son of the Hebrew nation, observer of the law, and practice under the Pharisee(ic) party which would be similar in nature to today’s conservative party. Moreover, Paul confessed to being a persecutor of the church due to their non-compliance with the law and on many instances took lives due to their non-compliance. Yet, during his assault on the people of God because of their decision to live life according to how they perceived it and understood it, he emphatically (in his heart) thought they were all wrong. In the eyes of the Pharisee party, he was deemed blameless for all his ruthless behavior in the name of the “Law”. Now, does Paul’s past actions draw any similarity to the actions of those politically and geo-politically today, all in the name of Christian Nationalism?
This is complete hypocrisy! If we are to be true believers and demonstrate the actions of the resurrected Jehovah, we must get back to preaching the unadulterated Gospel of the Messiah. The word must be the ‘change agent’, not a law or the attempt to legislate ways to force people to act and do a certain way because you do not agree with their idiosyncratic choices. The word also makes it ever so clear, to let the wheat and tare grow together and/or at the day of harvest Christ will do the separating “not man nor his imperfect and skewed law(s).”
Lastly, The Resurrector who Paul preached, makes everything new and gives all of mankind the opportunity to understand their ways and “CHANGE”. He created man with the choice to choose… I find nowhere in the scripture where man was created to be forced, made, or mandated to act a certain way. Now, I am not soliciting or embracing sin not one iota, but I am 100% embracing choice and encouraging all true disciples to preach more word to compel the lost and preach less legislature and condemnation due to choice… Let’s not seek after self-righteousness due to one’s own ideology based on an incomplete attempt to the obedience to the Law. Instead, I implore all that have ears to hear be found seeking to know Jesus in the way of his power that outflows from His resurrection, which exerts over the believer. Also, become knowledgeable of his sufferings that continually transform the believer into his likeness, by dying to sin and experiencing new life in Him.
