Phil 4:5-7
5 Let your gentle spirit [your graciousness, unselfishness, mercy, tolerance, and
patience] be known to all people. The Lord is near. 6 Do not be anxious or worried about
anything, but in everything [every circumstance and situation] by prayer and petition
with thanksgiving, continue to make your [specific] requests known to God. 7 And the
peace of God [that peace which reassures the heart, that peace] which transcends all
understanding, [that peace which] stands guard over your hearts and your minds in
Christ Jesus [is yours].

1 Thess 5:23, Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you through and through [that
is, separate you from profane and vulgar things, make you pure and whole and
undamaged—consecrated to Him—set apart for His purpose]; and may your spirit and
soul and body be kept complete and [be found] blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus
Christ.

Gal 6:16, Peace and mercy be upon all who walk by this rule [who discipline themselves
and conduct their lives by this principle – the principle is mention in verse 15 which is
your new creation – rebirth], and upon the [true] Israel of God (Jewish believers).

Heb 13:20
20 Now may the God of peace [the source of serenity and spiritual well-being] who
brought up from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great Shepherd of the sheep, through the
blood that sealed and ratified the eternal covenant, 21 equip you with every good thing to
carry out His will and strengthen you [making you complete and perfect as you ought to
be], accomplishing in us that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to
whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.

Life in general has 3 Boxes
Worry Box – nothing/ Prayer Box – everything/ Thanksgiving Box – all things and
anything!

But man Worry – about everything/ Pray – about nothing/ Give thanks – only for a few
things…

God’s peace is a permanent peace offered by the only One who can be trusted to keep
HIS Word and forgive our sin. It is knowing that God is next your side no matter
what. Peace is a gift from God, so it requires no work or no worry. Just receive it.
