Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
Ephesians 6:10

Now that the political election has come and gone for calendar year 2024, now what for us as believers as well as non-believers supposed to do to move forward?  For many, throughout the land are fretting and complaining that the decision for the central office for Presidency of the United States was the will of God?  I beg to differ, was it?  If so, what is the evidence or the biblical backing for the selected candidate?  Remember, there was basically two choices that were proposed one of that being of a man that have done, said, and acted with no spiritual guidance, no scruples, or morals… His behavior demonstrated over the years is not aligned or consistent with that of someone who reverence the Lord as their personal savior.

Moreover, the opposing candidate has also demonstrated some flaws and imperfections that has been called into question, however she has not wavered in her commission openly to proclaim that she is a Christian/believer.  Also, her message and corresponding behavior have been consistent with someone that is trying to make a difference in the lives of God’s people by thinking of and considering of their well-being 1st!  However, man spoke and did not choose that which was logical, practical, qualified, and have displayed a preponderance of behavioral evidence that is expected from someone who occupies the top position in the country.  Yet the person that most fits that mold was rejected and the worst of two evils was selected.

Now, the pangs, cries, and the ill-wills of someone who does not think of his brethren 1st is about to be unleashed!  So, we that are a part of the way and know the way for the next term of 4 years are going to have to trust, rely on, and cling to the Lord of ALL, like never before.

So, as we prepare to move into the holiday season, lift your heads on ye gates, and be ye lifted and allow the Spirit of the Lord to come in and direct your paths, cover you, and keep you in his ark of safety… It is not a sign of weakness to admit that we are inadequate in instances beyond one’s control. Remember, it is perfectly okay to reach out to a friend, family member, or confidant if you should start to feel overwhelmed about what has recently taken place and the potential aftermath that will more than likely happen.  Even more so, look to and be strengthen in the Lord.  The moment of now makes all of us that dare to believe, a perfect candidate for the service of God when we realize all that we are and do, depends upon Him.

As we continue to go forward remember to do good in spite of what you may be thinking or feeling.  For the good that emanates from the life of the believer is a representation of the fruit of His Spirit that dwells within us.

Prayer
Lord, I thank you for being God. For there is none like from the heaven above to earth below you remain sovereign.  I thank you for Your precious blood that flows through the veins of my soul and depths of my spirit.  Now I ask you for a fresh refilling of your Holy-Spirit that I might have clarity, hope, inspiration, and insight on how to continue to be strong in U and in your might!  Amen.
