And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
Colossians 3:17

There are times in the believer’s life as well as the non-believer despite what we do, think, or feel to act in righteousness, we simply sometimes missed the mark.  There is no one individual that has a lock on life that he or she is error proof and does not make mistakes.  Therefore, the question should not be will you make a mistake, the question actually should be, what do you do when you do make a mistake???

The bible states in Col 3:15 And let the peace (soul harmony which comes) from Christ rule (act as umpire continually) in your hearts [deciding and settling with finality all questions that arise in your minds, in that peaceful state] to which as [members of Christ’s] one body you were also called [to live].  And be thankful (appreciative), [giving praise to God always].

Therefore, life should be lived each day being sober minded and having a temperance toward others and different scenarios that you find yourself in. As it is stated above in the scripture, the true follower of Christ must mature to a point that despite all that takes place or is going on in the immediate surrounding, he/she must be impacted by allowing the peace that comes from Christ answer all questions and situations in finality!  That peace can be attained either through the Holy Word or by inspiration of the Holy Spirit.  In essence, the established disciple of Christ must continue in growing and elevating to a point to recognize “on site” what God is revealing about any “said situation”.

Prayer

Lord I acknowledge that my earnest efforts will never be good enough. I understand that it is You living within me that creates all that is good about me. Without You I can accomplish nothing, with You living in me, I can do all things. Therefore, empower me always to be, do, and know in your matchless name! Amen.
