And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. Galatians 6:9

There is a tendency to sometime forget, the irreplaceable blessings we receive from God of Host daily. Moreover, the challenges we face do not always come from an outside source but sometimes they come from within, and the Mercy of God is new every day and gives us the victory to confront and overcome those internal conflicts.

Our daily routines for the most part become monotonous; meaning we work hard and grind constantly with an expectation that tomorrow will be the same as today. Therefore, it can be easy to slip into a mindset that one’s daily tasks and work for God is a chore, rather than a pleasure. Which can eventually lead to an attitude of weariness that starts to set in and by default, affect your relationship with God and others.

Unfortunately, this can open a gateway to cause your love to grow cold and run the risk of wandering away from God instead of coming closer to God. It is paramount to stay mindful that God is just as faithful in our day-to-day routines, as He is in the middle of a crisis. So, when life seems dull, and you feel weary you must always trust in His faithfulness and rest in His love.

Now, the last piece of the daily life puzzle consists of doing the heavy lifting of continuing to “do good” even when you may not feel up to it.  Doing good despite, one’s circumstance is what God requires and allows the wheels of motion to engage on your behalf for victory! Hold on to His strength, and you will reap in His perfect time.

Prayer

Lord, I thank You for being faithful and I trust that under your wings my soul will find rest and peace. When I begin to grow weary, please give me strength and ability to continue to do good, Amen.
