God, You are my God; Early will I seek You; My soul thirsts for You; My flesh longs for You in a dry and thirsty land where there is no water. So I have looked for You in the sanctuary, to see Your power and Your glory.

Psalm 63:1-2

Interpersonal relationships throughout mankind are priceless and should be cherished, valued, and nurtured. Though personal relationships are essential to us, they cannot ever replace, or fill the void that comes because of neglecting our relationship with the author and finisher of our faith! Our relationship with the Lord not only, requires time, attention, nurturing but it also requires commitment. It does not matter how bad or great things go in our lives, if we aren’t spending time with the Creator, we will find ourselves feeling abandon, like something is missing, or alone. It is the expression of His love, that reaches to the depths of our souls and fills those depleted areas with joy indescribable. There is no earthly relationship, that can fill the longing within us for our faithful Lord and Savior. As the song says, the ordinary just want do, I need a love that is special and true, that I can only find in U Jesus…

Prayer

Lord of All, help us to always be cognizance in recognizing who U are and all that U mean to the believer. You are always omni-present; it is man that missed U due to not prioritizing U as first in every area of life. Enable us to be forever grateful for all that U have bestowed upon us when it comes to earthly relationships. Nevertheless, U are the core of life and source of all things. Your presence fills the day. U are un-mistakenly what my soul longs for in the desert, Amen!
