We have been given some insight into eternity through in by God’s Word. That word deposit prompts us with a hope of what is to come; an expectation that cannot be compared to anything earthly, it goes beyond the human capacity to see, feel, or touch. It is an expectation of a blissful life and a euphoric environment with the One that was, is, and is to come. The hope of the true believer must remain is in Christ! He bestows blessings, joy and goodness in this life to those that dare to believe. I believe that everyone regardless of who they may or may not be, was created with a purpose.
Therefore, time cannot be wasted on chasing the pleasures of this world to the point that hope eternal becomes remised. Nothing that man has amassed on earth can be taken with him to eternity. Nope, not a career, home, car, collections, etc. will enter into the next life. Only things that are eternal will go into eternity, things that are deeply rooted within the soul, love, faith, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, and self-control.
Prayer
Fill the heart of mankind with the hope of things eternal. May there be an awakening that takes place that causes the believer to know that his or her existence is predicated on Looking to the One that has no beginning but is Eternal! Amen.
