Be Mindful to Divine(ness)

by | Jun 29, 2026 | Devotional |

In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.
(Proverbs 3:6 NKJV)

The scriptures clearly communicate, to acknowledge HIM in all your ways, and HE shall direct your path(s). So, within the concept of practicing mindfulness there must be an inextricable connection between a man’s thoughts, his awareness, and his practical ability to accept/receive according to God’s word.

There have been and always will be challenges, trials, tests, and temptations that come to “knock you off of your square”. Or, to put it another way, to take you out of your current state of mind or being and have you start doubting what you believe or question the practicality to what it is that you proclaim. This type of behavior is very common today because life as we have come accustomed to is filled with so much misery, demise, strife, war, hypocrisy, lies, deceit, deception, delusions, envy, narcissism, power seeking, and the insatiable love of and in many cases can’t get enough of money! So, in understanding the various spiritual distractions that are at play in our surroundings, it can veil the mind of the believer from being mindful to Jehovah true divinity and HIS sovereign presence.

The Holy Spirit resides in the born-again or again-born believer, and is ready to give sound counsel, wisdom, and strength during mental and psychological war. His truth cuts through world darkness and the uncertainty of times. For there is no greater authority than our Redeemer who gives instructions on what’s going on around you as well as what’s going on in you today, the ability to differentiate between what is – from what is not and bestows an understanding for you to accept those things that are beyond your control.

The spirit of God will enable the true believer to model mindfulness in its truest form, by learning to pay attention, live in the moment, accept who you were made to be in HIM, and learning to relax and believe in HIM for ALL things…
