Be It Unto Me

“Then Mary said, “Behold the maidservant of the Lord! Let it be to me according to your word.” Luke 1:38

For the most part, we are a people that want things to go our way. Being happy and satisfied is more important than anything else to so many today. However, in most instances we really do not know what is best for us as individuals because self-gratification leads the way. So, that’s why being a servant and believer of the Most-High, it is imperative to pray and seek God will for your life.

According to scripture in Luke 1:37 (AMP) it states, “For with God nothing is ever impossible and no words from God shall be without power or impossible of fulfillment”. This is a friendly reminder that doing things in alignment to God’s way is the best for us in every aspect.

Moreover, there is nothing that God has promised or revealed to you for you that HE is not able to perform or allow to be made manifest. However, HIS word revealed in your heart and mind must take precedence with an inseparable hope and belief that it will come to past! I have experienced so many times in my life when I anxiously hoped and expected for God to deliver for me. But the most interesting thing is that God’s way is so much higher and vast than man’s ways. Therefore, we will never totally grasp how God is going to bless or when HE is going to bless. But one thing for certain that we all can bank on, HE is going to bless!

Lastly, we should always remember that God only wants what’s best for HIS children. No more than any of us would want something bad for our children, so it is with our Heavenly Father, HE only wants what is best and allow us to thrive as followers…

My Prayer

Lord of All, during this holiday season allow us not to be discouraged or afraid when we are walking in your parameters. Help us to always trust in your love and provision. Prompt us to always submit ourselves to your authority and your will. You are our perfect peace and our hope; You are good, and your mercy endures forever. Amen.
