1 Samuel 17:26-52

Are you prepared today to battle your Goliath? At some point in life you will have a Goliath moment. The goal in life should be to walk circumspect from sin, stay connected to the Lord God Jehovah, and maintain an accountable partner. Because will be times that you will vulnerable and will have to do battle with your own giant/Goliath. It is great to have that encouragement from a God sent when you may be down.

At that strategic point of inflection when you are faced with your giant will you be timid and surrender, or will you be like King David and remember that you are the servant of the Most High God and take-the-head off your enemy!

When you step in the ring or stand face-to-face with Goliath, there is no time to learn how to fight. There is no time to strategize or to call a big brother or big sister. You must be properly trained and skilled in God’s Word, filled with the power of the Holy-Spirit, and be able to deliver the enemy his fate, which is defeat!

When David took on Goliath, he had already trained being a sheep herder for his father. He had past victories on his resume of killing a bear, killing a lion, and protecting what his father had selected him to do. So, when his show down came with the bully that had all of Israel afraid, he took on the task and commandeered his victory. However, there is one valid point that must be made, and that is David had faith in WHO he served which gave him a knowing of what he could do, because of WHO was in him and WHO was with him…

I desire that the power of God establish your heart and mind today regardless of what or who your Goliath may be. On behalf of the believers, greater is HE who is you then he that is in the world. May the Lord give you victory over Goliath in this season by reminding of your birth right, your past victories, and there is no failure nor defeat in the living God of Host.
