12 Ways to Jumpstart the Brain/Mind

  1. Love your brain – by valuing it and investing in the elasticity principles for longevity by demonstrating self-love, positive meditation & reading.
  2. Learn healthy ways to block out un-useful pain through developing healthy coping skills, positive self-talk, and intentional reflection (assessing the pluses and minuses) …
  3. Prevent poisoning your brain and its functionalities by avoiding drugs and consume alcohol and caffeine in moderation.
  4. Protect your memory (by intentionally remembering positive things from the past).
  5. Be mindful of what you focus on and do not allow automatic negative thoughts to consume your thought process.
  6. Protect your head from falls and injuries.
  7. Maintain a healthy brain diet (low-protein, fiber, nuts, and omega-3s)
  8. Practice various healthy breathing exercises to help keep the brain properly oxygenated.
  9. Stimulate your brain waves continuously by researching and learning new ideas.
  10. Attempt to get at least 6-8 hours of sleep nightly.
  11. Maintain healthy physical exercises like bike riding, fast walking, and light jogging.
  12. Develop and maintain resiliency – to include stamina, strength, and endurance.
